Inika McPherson is to high jump like Spud Webb is to slam dunk contest. Standing at merely 5’4”, McPherson out jumps much taller competitors in an event dominated by tall athletes.

McPherson has represented the United States in several International competitions. She competed in the 2004 World Junior Championships, the 2007 Pan American Games (in Rio), and World Championships in 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.

In 2016, the olympic finalist finished 10th and ties 5th but stopping or slowing down is an understatement as McPherson has been on 3 World Indoor Teams, 4 Outdoor World Teams, 3 US National Titles and ESPN Athlete of the Decade.

As Inika McPherson continues to stay healthy and prepare for upcoming meets, she looks forwrad to 2018 NACAC Championships, 2018 Continental Cup, 2019 Indoor USA Championships, 2019 Diamond League, 2019 USA Outdoor National Championships, 2019 World Championships, 2020 World indoor and USA indoor Nationals, 2020 Olympic Trails and of course the 2020 Olympic Games.
